Glastonbury Festival 27th - 29th June 2008

Field Of Avalon

The folk festival within the festival! a celebration of tradition, enjoying and solidifying our roots through music, art and crafts. You'll find music, crafts, art and sculpture, installations, fabulous food, market stalls, lots of great activities for kids, and as well as all that there's plenty of merchandise to be found in Avalon. The Vale of Avalon - steeped in myth and history.

The field of Avalon has plenty going on but it is so so chilled....try out the 24hr Avalon cafe while you're there! 2007 saw the addition of a new bar, the Avalon Inn, where impromptu music sessions are held and to which anyone with a traditional acoustic instrument is welcome.

The Field of Avalon is the perfect village green to wander around, and there is always some outstanding entertainment getting about as well. Previous acts that have wowed the crowds here include Levellers Acoustic, The Proclaimers, The Waterboys, Billy Bragg, The Saw Doctors and many, many more.

You will love the Field Of Avalon it's chilled, relaxed, family friendly and has some great acts as well, if you haven't discovered it yet check it out while you're there - you won't be disappointed.
