T In The Park 11 | 12 | 13 July 2008 - have your say

Starting life at the Strathclyde Country Park in 1994 T in the Park has become a major festival that is loved by the fans, musicians and media alike, it has a well earned reputation not the least because it attracts the biggest and the best. It truly is Scotland's premier event winning awards year on year.

From its inception in 1994 when DF Concerts joined forces with Tennent's Lager and MCD Promotions, T in the Park continues to grow in both status and size having now established itself as one of the 'biggies' both among the UK and European festival scenes, gaining much critical acclaim along the way.

The festival has been situated in the Scottish countryside of Balado, near Kinross since 1997. It's an amazingly popular and successful festival playing over nine stages, from newbies to well established stars. T In The Park has won numerous prestigious awards including the Hollis Award for Sponsorship Continuity in 2003, the Best Facilities and Organisation at the inaugural UK Festival Awards in 2004, 2006 saw it win not one but two awards at this years UK Festival awards. Obviously a team that are doing a lot right and we think 2008 will see another round of awards for this stunning festival........
