The Flaming Lips are well known for their fabulous multi-layered, psychedelic arrangements, spacey lyrics and bizarre song and album titles.

The Flaming Lips are a 'bands band' and  Q magazine named them as one of the "50 Bands to See Before You Die".

They are famous for their elaborate and bizzare live shows, using strange costumes, balloons, puppets, all manner of video projections, complex stage light configurations and enormous amounts of confetti which they spray into the crowd. Frontman Wayne Coyne's signature man-sized plastic bubble adds to the general mayhem of the gig as he tends to arrive from all over the place in and around the audience.

This is for sure a band to see live, an experience like no other out there! Band members are Wayne Coyne, Michael Ivins, Steven Drozd and Kliph Scurlock - but you never know who might pop out of one of those costumes during a live show!
